Back Blogging along with my summer must haves
Hey Guys, I know its been a while but I'm back!
I know I kind of vanished off the blogging scene for a while but I am slowly coming back into it. It is something that I love to do for myself and I get a lot of enjoyment out of sitting down and writing about things that I am passionate about and that is makeup and fashion. However these last four months I forgot all that. My Grandfather became very sick with CJD a rare disease that gradually destroys brain cells and sadly passed away on the 30th of May this year. My depression got terribly bad to a point I just couldn't face it anymore I stopped writing, doing tutorials and talking to you guys online I just couldn't find the joy in anything.The only reason for me getting up in the morning was son. I was trying so hard to look and be strong for work, my family and most importantly Ben that I just didn't have the energy to keep it up online. Losing my granddad was the hardest thing I have ever been through he was a like second dad to me and so when he died I feel like a little part of me did too. This post is kind of experimental in a way I hope by pushing myself to open up and to write and do the things I once loved doing that I will begin to heel and actually start to enjoy it again. So here we go...
Schools are out its officially summer a real one here in Ireland with actual sun.So I've put together some of my summer must haves..
This body lava is the BOMB! This is Rihanna/ Kim Kardashian in a bottle. This gives your skin this amazing wet looking goddess golden glow .It applies beautifully over false tan almost enhancing it giving it a more natural looking glow like you get on vacation.This is a product once you try it you will not live without. It comes in two shades the above is Brown Sugar and is €33.
Okay so this palette is pretty much summer. It has a range of beautiful cool and warm tones so you can create so many different looks. The pigments are gorgeous however they have some kickback which is pretty normal and what I like about this palette is the eye shadow formula is creamier than some of the other UD palettes. The only negative is there is only one matte. However the shimmer/metal shades are killer!
Ireland has a heatwave bitches!! So we need SPF! I know we should be wearing spf everyday but with weather like this you CAN'T not wear one. If your like me and hate the feeling of suncream on your face this is puuurfect for you. So this is a moisturizer from IMAGE skincare with added SPF 30 what I love about this product is that its non oily and dries matte but yet is super hydrating and so your makeup applies as normal over it unlike other moisturizers where it slides off.
This is a new face palette from benefit with 5 stunning summer shades. Its a mix of blushers and highlighters with their famous HOOLA bronzer in there not mention a mini application brush. The blushes come in a range of pink and coral shades that leave the skin looking so fresh and dewy. I've been reaching for this palette non stop since I've bought it.
