My Top Five Foundations
Hey Guys, I'm back with a full on beauty post for you all. One thing I get complimented on a lot are the foundations I use. I personally love the flawless no filter necessary skin.Unfortunately I don't have that as I suffered really badly with acne as a teenager and have the scars to prove it. So I need a foundation that will cover everything.
Here are my top five foundations for a flawless full coverage-
1- Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Longwear Liquid Foundation.
This is by far my all time favourite foundation for a full coverage flawless finish. It covers everything in just one layer, you don't need to build this up. It is really easy to apply it goes on so smoothly and blends well. It gives you a matte finish that lasts all day. Oily skin babes, this ones for you.The only downside to me is that it's pricey.
2. L'OREAL True Match Foundation.
This would be my everyday foundation I can honestly say that I've never received so many compliments on a single foundation in my life and people do be as shocked as I am that its a pharmacy brand costing me only €14.99. It comes in a range of 23 shades from warm to neutral to cool undertones. It gives you a medium coverage but like I do you can build it up without it feeling heavy on the skin. Its super blendable giving you that second skin affect.
3. Mac Studio Fix Fluid.
This is by far my most requested and used foundation with clients as it photographs beautifully. It's a beautiful foundation that gives you a natural matte finish its medium to full buildable coverage. It has a HUGE shade selection and a little amount goes a long way with this foundation. The Packaging is the downside for me the glass bottle is heavy so not travel friendly and it does not come with a dispenser (nozzel or pump) to take out the product, you have to pour it out so wastage can be a problem. This foundation does not cake up and give a flawless smooth airbrushed look.
4. Inglot HD Perfect Cover Up Foundation.
I think everyone by now is familiar with the Inglot brand and their most popular best selling HD Perfect Cover Up foundation. It is a full coverage long lasting foundation very rarely needs any top ups. It comes in a very neat light weight bottle. Again this is another matte finish but what I do with most of my matte foundation to lighten them up is I simply add strobe cream into the mix. The INGLOT HD foundations all contain HD pigments that are designed to be used for filming in HD giving your skin that flawless even finish on screen.
5. Catrice HD Liquid Coverage.
I just had to share this foundation with you guys if you're on a tight budget and looking for a good full coverage foundation look no further with its ultra lightweight texture giving you that flawless second skin affect and little goes a long way with this product. This gives you a smooth even complexion all for the price of €7.99. The only downside to this product is it only come in 4 shades!
It's available in all Pennys/Primark and a lot of pharmacies.
